Ashley is the proud owner of Golden Rose & Events of Harmony, bringing together her lifelong passion for flowers, design, and celebrations with years of experience in the wedding and event industry. Before becoming the owner of Golden Rose, Ashley built a diverse background in the industry, including managing a successful bridal store, working as a florist, and operating her own wedding coordination business, Putnam Plans. These experiences shaped her eye for design and gave her a deep understanding of the many details that go into creating a meaningful and memorable event. Since taking ownership of Golden Rose in 2024, Ashley has continued to grow the business as both New Harmony’s florist and wedding specialist, expanding its services to include floral design, wedding and event design, décor rentals, coordination, setup, and more. Through Events of Harmony, she works closely with couples and clients to bring their vision to life—from the first idea to the final detail. Ashley believes the best events are the ones that feel personal, intentional, and beautifully reflective of the people being celebrated. Whether designing a single arrangement or coordinating an entire wedding or event, she brings creativity, experience, and a genuine passion for making every celebration special. When she’s not designing flowers or planning events, Ashley is actively involved in the New Harmony community and is passionate about helping make the town an even more welcoming destination for celebrations, visitors, and local businesses.

Welcome to Golden Rose & Events of Harmony, New Harmony’s florist and wedding specialist, proudly serving the community and surrounding areas with beautiful flowers, thoughtful design, and exceptional service.For more than 30 years, Golden Rose has been part of the New Harmony community. Today, under the ownership of Ashley Putnam, the shop has grown into much more than a traditional flower shop. We offer fresh floral design, custom silk arrangements, plants and planters, everyday flowers, sympathy and celebration flowers, gifts, and seasonal décor, along with comprehensive wedding and event services through Events of Harmony.

Our wedding and event services include floral design, event styling, décor and linen rentals, arches and backdrops, centerpieces, installations, coordination, setup and teardown, and event logistics. Do you offer same-day flower delivery?
Yes! We offer same-day delivery in New Harmony for orders placed by 3:00 PM. For delivery to other locations throughout Posey County, orders should be placed by 1:00 PM.
If you’re placing an order after the cutoff time, please call us at 812-682-5027. We may still be able to accommodate a same-day delivery depending on our delivery schedule and availability.
How much does flower delivery cost in New Harmony?

Can I order online or by phone?
Yes! You can order online anytime at goldenrosefloral.com or by phone at (812) 682-5027 during our business hours (Mon Closed, Tue-Thu 10:00 AM-4:00 PM, Fri 10:00 AM-3:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, Sun Closed).
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Afterpay at our online checkout. For in-store or phone orders, we take cards, Apple Pay, cash, and checks.
Can I request certain flowers or colors?
Of course! You can let us know your preferred flowers or color palette. While some blooms may be seasonal or limited, we’ll do our best to create an arrangement that reflects your vision.
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later date.
Do you deliver flowers to hospitals, offices, or event venues?
Yes, we deliver to homes, hospitals, businesses, and venues across Posey and Vanderburgh County. Please provide the full address and any delivery notes during checkout.
Can I include add-ons with my bouquet or arrangement?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of flower delivery add-ons to personalize your arrangement such as small gifts or keepsakes. You’ll see available add-ons on each product page and again at checkout.
How do I make my flowers last longer?
Trim the stems, place them in fresh water, and keep the arrangement in a cool spot away from direct sunlight to extend their life.
